Terms of Service
Service usage guidelines for merchants, QRIS Plus devices, and digital transaction operations on the Kesles Merchant application.
Applicable to Registered Merchants
These terms apply throughout merchant use of the application, devices, and transaction services provided through Kesles Merchant. Effective May 2026.
1. Service Scope
These terms govern the use of the Kesles Merchant application, QRIS payment services, and QRIS Plus device services used by merchants to receive transactions and monitor business operations. The application is operated by PT Inti Kesles Nusantara, an Indonesian legal entity domiciled in South Jakarta.
- The service may only be used by registered users who have completed required merchant verification (KYC).
- Access to certain features may depend on merchant status, device status, account data completeness, and relevant authority approvals.
- Kesles Merchant reserves the right to update the service to maintain security, stability, and operational quality.
- The service is intended for merchants aged at least 18 years or legally established business operators in Indonesia.
2. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for ensuring that all business data, owner identity, NIK, NPWP (for taxable merchants), bank account, address, and contact information provided are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Merchants must safeguard account credentials, OTP, security PIN, and devices used to access the service.
- Merchants may not lend their account or device to unauthorized parties.
- Material changes to business data must be updated through the application or via the operations team if necessary.
- Merchants are responsible for the validity of KYC documents (ID photo, NPWP, outlet photo) uploaded to the application.
3. Use of Payments and Devices
Merchants may use static QRIS, dynamic QRIS, or QRIS Plus according to the service activation available on the merchant account. Device use must follow the registered placement location and intended purpose.
- Merchants must ensure that transactions are legitimate, real, and consistent with the registered business activity.
- Merchants must protect devices from damage, unauthorized modification, or use outside approved locations.
- Device, transaction, or connection issues must be promptly reported through official Kesles Merchant support channels.
- The application requires device permissions (camera for KYC documents and scanning the QR serial number on QRIS Plus devices during pairing, location for outlet verification, push notifications) according to the features used.
4. Fees and Fund Settlement
Merchants understand that service usage may be subject to MDR (Merchant Discount Rate), service fees, or other operational charges per the applicable program. Fee details are presented in the merchant contract and obligation information.
- Transaction funds are processed per payment partner provisions and successful transaction status.
- Fee deductions are calculated before net funds are displayed or disbursed to the merchant's bank account.
- Fee scheme changes will be communicated through the application, contract, or other official channels at least 14 days in advance.
- Refunds and disputes will be handled per the refund policy and applicable Bank Indonesia regulations.
5. Restrictions, Suspension, and Termination
Kesles Merchant reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate merchant access if there are indications of violations, service misuse, invalid data, or activities that may pose operational or legal risks.
- Merchant status may change to Submitted, Review, Active, Suspended, or None based on examination results.
- Access to certain features may be temporarily restricted during the examination process.
- Merchants may contact the support team for explanations regarding account status or required follow-up.
- Service termination does not extinguish obligations arising prior to termination, including tax and compliance obligations.
6. Intellectual Property & Prohibitions
The Kesles Merchant application, along with all its content, brand, logo, and software, is owned by PT Inti Kesles Nusantara and protected by Indonesian intellectual property law.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or unauthorized modification of the application is prohibited.
- Use of the service for fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful activities is prohibited.
- Unauthorized system access, malware transmission, or service disruption is prohibited.
- Violations may result in service termination and/or legal action.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will be resolved through deliberation; if unresolved, they will be submitted to the competent District Court in Jakarta.
- Kesles Merchant's liability is capped at the value of transactions paid within the most recent 12 months.
- Force majeure (natural disasters, network outages, government regulations) releases both parties from obligations during the event.
- Consumer complaints may also be submitted to Bank Indonesia or OJK within the applicable scope.
8. Terms Updates & Contact
Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect regulatory changes or service improvements. The latest version is always available in the application and on this page.
- Update notifications will be sent via the application, email, or push notifications at least 14 days before taking effect.
- Continued use of the service after the effective date means the merchant accepts the updated terms.
